Kensington Gardens is a comprehensive, 350 bed long-term care home. Three of these beds are designated as 'short-stay/respite' beds available for short term relief care for the community. Residents at Kensington Gardens are assisted with daily living, under the direction of professionally registered staff, exceeding the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care standards.

Kensington Gardens has been designed with many upgrades and enhancements to the residential home areas. Each nursing unit is home to 24-26 residents. Each resident has their own room, with basic and semi-private accommodation sharing a washroom. Private accommodation residents have their own private bathroom, upgraded room with carpet and designer window coverings.

Kensington Clinic

Kensington Clinic offers a wide range of both medical and retail services, including College Optical, Medical Supplies and The Second Cup. The Kensington Eye Institute (www.tkei.org) is also located in the Kensington Clinic building on the sixth floor. This Centre of Excellence provides timely cataract care to the community. All of our diverse health care services are conveniently located at 340 College Street in downtown Toronto.
