Kensington Gardens
Kensington Gardens is a comprehensive, 350 bed long-term care home.
Three of these beds are designated as 'short-stay/respite' beds available for short term relief care for the community.
Residents at Kensington Gardens are assisted with daily
living, under the direction of professionally registered
staff, exceeding the Ministry of Health and Long Term
Care standards.
Kensington Gardens has been designed with many upgrades
and enhancements to the residential home areas. Each nursing unit is home to 24-26 residents.
Each resident has their own room, with basic and semi-private accommodation sharing a washroom.
Private accommodation residents have their own private bathroom, upgraded room with carpet and designer window coverings.

Kensington Clinic
Kensington Clinic offers a wide range of both medical
and retail services, including College Optical, Medical
Supplies and The Second Cup. The Kensington Eye Institute (www.tkei.org) is also located in the Kensington Clinic building on the sixth floor. This Centre of Excellence provides timely cataract care to the community.
All of our diverse health care services are conveniently located at 340 College
Street in downtown Toronto.
Preparing an application
Applications must be prepared for you by the Community
Care Access Centre (CCAC). They can be reached at 416-506-9688/416-217-3820.
After completing the referral
process, the application will be forwarded to Kensington
Gardens at which time it will be reviewed for admission.
